Glad the Amagami sisters managed to set everything up but seriously, a fake impersonator account tries to sabotage them? They just can't catch a break!

Not going to lie, Uryu really is inspirational this season, doing whatever it takes to make the campaign a success. His presence alone inspires the sisters to work their hardest.

I was not expecting this much internet autism interference in a show like this to be honest. I mean, fucking DDOS-ed the festival with fake accounts, lol ... The Orochimaru guy truly is not a good person, eh.

And i'm gonna repeat myself from a couple of episodes back, we are supposed to be in for the girls, but damn, Uryu truly is THE man in this show.

So, how many of you caught at what Miemon Kitashirakawa said as he look out the car window at 20:16: "Right-Chiharu-han?"? Chiharu is the deceased Amagami mother and priestess. Is he talking to a deceased former acquaintance? friend? rival? as he look into the sky? Or actually talking to her ghost? Or is he talking to the hidden face woman with the hidden face on his other side in the car?

Finally they succeeded after the struggle they put in. Even so, it would be good if a struggle was accompanied by prayer so that the results would be better as they have done before.

I really admire their struggle, especially Uryuu who is trying his best for the sake of the temple, just like he is protecting the place where he lives now. And we can also see the duties of the Amagami Sisters as temple residents.

While Uryu and the girls were barely able to save the shrine the head priest guy had a point when he said they'll work harder now that they know what's at stake. Regarding the person he mentioned at the end, Chiharu, was that the girls' mother? Because whomever it was it was not clear if she really was in the car with him as a different angle showed him sitting by himself, maybe we'll see later.

Anyway, it was nice to see Yae kiss Uryu on the cheek although I think both him and the other 2 girls overreacted, haha.

After the storm comes the blossoming.. looked like the shrine festival was going to be a literal wash, but Uryu and the girls were able to get the gods’ blessing and put on a great performance for the guests. S/O to Miharu and the other kids at the group home who helped out with flyers and advertising. Stuff like this truly takes a collaborative effort and it was nice seeing everyone come together to make a difference.

I think it’s pretty clear the landlord made the fake page and tried to discourage everyone from coming to the festival, so I started wondering if he could control the rain too. Seems weird af that a surprise storm would pop up like that lmao.

So cool to see Miharu in a shrine maiden outfit and even better seeing Uryu genuinely happy. He might not have had time to study for his entrance exam, but he seems genuinely content with the girls rn.

A kiss!! Yae continues to be best girl. I think this show is being criminally slept on right now. Seen people complain about the animation but it looks fine to me? I mean it’s a slice of life not an action anime, just needs to be passable. The art looks really pretty, especially the sakura today and the characters are actually really competent which is nice!

"They got reported as a fake page = lousy people managing the verification process."
Is the sentence that came to my mind when I saw that scene. lol (okay, time to stop hating on the said subject, lmao

Anyway, another wonderful episode, and what's more, looks like we will be getting another new character next episode, and looks like a JK at that.

P.S. I also wished to see a full lengthened dance of the three girls as shrine maidens, but unfortunately, we didn't get it. 🙄

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I was just thinking why would Miemon want them to fail? if the event is successful, they made money and he made money, so it's a win win. So I'm glad in the end, at least he "helped" them, but I wonder who is he talking to in the car.

the name he said at 20:16 was Chiharu, who is the deceased Amagami priestess and mother to the three girls. He was looking out the window and upward, so it is not necessary that he was talking to the person (with face not shown) sitting on his other side or whether he was addressing an absent or incorporeal person.

I suspect we are going to get way more supernatural as we go along, and that there is s supernatural being manipulating events and destinies. I think its focus is the sisters and that it is using Uryuu as an agent or pawn to help them.

I can't figure out Miemon, first he sabotages the event only to make sure they succeed at the end.
Also curious to know who the girl was with him at the end.
I am so happy that everyone's hard work paid of with the help of some friends.
The people who went had a great time as well.

I have ADD, ADHD & AUTISM, but this won't stop me. Let's keep having fun together.

This is turning out to have quite a few levels from comedy to romance to Shintoism to bad guys who may not be bad to supernatural interventions. The art is also excellent, just a shame the animation is underfunded or understaffed. It deserves a better production, but it still scores highly for me due to the story, character designs and background art.
Not over sure where the shrine is actually meant to be, there’s a lot of similarities to parts of the well known Inari shrine in Kyoto but a few scenes remind me of Enoshima as well as the shop is like the one at the Daibutsu shrine in Kamakura. There’s obviously hundreds more I haven’t seen so it’s only similarities based on my limited knowledge of course.

An impostor managing to convince everyone that an event I worked my butt off for and even getting the account I made advertising it taken down would probably unlock a new kind of rage within me, man.

I feel the same way, I'm just glad they chose VA's that fit the characters and so now I can have an idea of their voices when I read the manga.

Probably my least favorite episode so far, it wasn’t bad or anything, I still enjoyed it, but there’s a handful of reasons why it didn’t reach the previous episodes for me. First is the obvious one, the slideshow during the scene when the girls were riding the float, it was supposed to be some amazing spectacle that gets people to go to the festival but I’m over here like “uh… I’ll pretend I didn’t see that” lol, of course I’m not a stickler for shows like this to have amazing art and animation, they don’t really need it, and the art in general is really good so it kinda makes up for it, but that one scene was just hurt for me a bit because of it.

And the second reason is because of the impossible prospects of the event, even after all that happened I find it hard to believe they managed to get 5000 people there, it already looked bad before the festival even began, but then they were sabotaged by a fake account and then a pop-up storm shows up and rains it out briefly, but yeah they pulled 5000 people somehow lol, I know it’s an anime but still. And the last reason is how much they leaned on the divine intervention near the end, they did all that was humanly possible to rake in 5000 but nature said no, but just praying the rain away worked, you could say it was a coincidence but the show is clearly leaning in a slightly supernatural direction so I wouldn’t doubt the faith of these girls parted the clouds like Moses and the Red Sea lol, but I suppose on this front I should suspend my disbelief because there will probably be more moments like this going forward.

But all that being said, I can forgive all those things that rubbed me the wrong way because at the end of the day, this is a silly harem anime and some unrealistic stuff is gonna happen, especially in this show with the religious theme, so as long as it’s fun, the girls stay cute and Yae smooches up Uryu a few more times, I’m good to go lol. And I’m also Intrigued by this Kitashirakawa guy, he seemed like an asshole (really he was one lol) but he helped out at the very end, and there’s more than meets the eye with him which was apparent from the car scene with a girl riding with him, I’m sure this isn’t the last we’ll see of him.

Good to see all of their hardwork payoff. Specially Uryu who worked his ass off when he never have to. Huge props to the guy. As Mahiru said if it was that much problem for him he never would have enjoyed it this much. Although it's kinda improbable for to reach 5000 even after all this(they should really have cut it to 1000/2000).
I am about to complain with unnecessary storm but the tied that well with cherry blossom lake. Animation looked fine to me when mattered the most with their dance on the lake. It looked really good.

Yae got the first strike, Uwu-kun got his reward for all the hard work with Salt thrown at him again. If I know anything about this genre now the other two will soon get their chance.

Very good episode, the fact that the weird guy whose name I've even forgotten created another account and took down the original one seemed very sneaky to me, I don't trust the false kindness he showed at the end.

On the other hand, it seems that without so many problems we can move on to the romance, or not yet? ._.xd

I really liked this episode. The final kiss was the cherry on top. The animation could be better but for me drawing consistency > fluidity, so it doesn't hurt that much.

Loving the progress so far, I expected to see the dancing shots animated but I still like the animation by now, sometimes it feels a bit weird in some way, but I think they could make the characters a bit more expressive?
Also, I wonder what they have planned to do with Shirahi this early, In the manga, way too far from now, she appears until ch 69 or so it's a bit interesting that she appeared on like the second episode

The pacing is as all over the place as I remember lol and honestly it does feel a bit weird seeing Shirahi being there with Mahiru-san helping at the shrine.

The twists were kinda meh, but the episode could have worked fine even with those... if the animation and the directing wouldn't have been so very bad. It's not enough that there's barely any animation to speak of, but the episode was full of reaction shots that went like like this: still image of youngest sister's face, "gasp", cut to still of second sister's face, "ghh", cut to still of oldest sister's face, "gasp" again. All of this taking up about 10 seconds of screentime. Unimaginative and boring.

Also, the sisters were treated like a "mob" for most of the episode, behaving and reacting the same way as one entity. Gotoubun never made the same mistake.

Maybe I got my expectations too high for this show.
