WCS (Worldwide Chain Stores)

Voice-activated commands aren't just for the magical realms of Hogwarts—they're revolutionising real-world logistics, too.Take Drakes, the dynamic Australian supermarket chain. Logistics Manager Glenn Sutcliffe has seen firsthand how our CSnx warehouse management system has supercharged their operations. Since its founding in 1974, Drakes has grown to over 70 stores with a staggering annual turnover exceeding $1 billion. To manage this scale and prepare for future growth, they turned to WCS for a solution that matches their ambition. Our CSnx system didn't just fit the bill—it excelled. It brought voice-activated efficiency to Drakes' warehouses, seamlessly integrating with their M3, Dematic's automated goods-to-person system, and Cubiscan. This was especially impactful in the challenging environments of frozen and chilled food picking, where gloves make traditional methods slow and cumbersome. We're proud to help Drakes not just meet but exceed their logistical demands, proving that the magic of voice activation can indeed create real-world wonders.#Warehouses #ProcessEngineering #TechThatMatters #OperationsManagement #OperationalExcellence #DigitalTransformation
