How do I get to the containment facility in Subnautica? ›

There are two entrances to the Lava Lakes containing the Primary Containment Facility; co-ordinates are -300 -1270 -150 and 90 -1240 360, southeast, and directly north of the Lava Castle, respectively. The Primary Containment Facility requires the Blue Tablet to unlock, which is found in the Alien Thermal Plant.

The Blue Tablet can be found in the Alien Thermal Plant, and is used to access the Primary Containment Facility. One Blue Tablet is needed to gain entrance to the facility, and a second one is used to unlock the Moonpool room.

In order to get inside of, or put fish into the Alien Containment, the player must build a Hatch on the side. The player can then enter the Alien Containment and release caught fish into it. Non-edible fish can be added through the use of their respective eggs.
